With tabbed browsing switched off, when i click on a link in outlook express or 2003 it will open in a tab instead of using currently open browser and just changing the website like it used to do on firefox 1.1. Not something that bothers me but thought i better report it as a bug :)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take off tabbed browsing.
2.Have an open firefox window on any website
3. Click on a link from outlook
4.go back to the firefox window and it will have opened in a new tab

Actual Results:
It will open in a tab

Expected Results:
navigate away from page currently on to the link clicked.

Have you chosen in Options > Tabs: Open links from other applications in: a new window?
Had only Thunderbird to try and this works fine.
What does "tabbed browsing switched off" mean? You can control how external links are handled with the way Ria described.
WFM, opens in new window
