User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5

If the gmail inbox is open, and no other tabs are open, hitting the new tab button or going to file -> new tab will un-maximize firefox. Note this does not happen if using the keyboard shortcut ctrl-t.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://gmail.google.com
2. Log into a gmail account
3. After inbox loads, click on the new tab button on the navigation toolbar or go to file -> new tab

Actual Results:
A new tab opens and in the process firefox will un-maximize.

Expected Results:
A new tab should open and firefox should NOT un-maximize.

Does not happen if ctrl-t used to open tab. Using default theme. Confirmed on my mom's computer as well, also using 1.5 final.
