User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5

Offset pixels when hover menus are displayed over a google-generated ad (i.e. javascript-generated image

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Navigate to www.snoweye.com
2.Hover over the menu at the left, opposite the google adsense ad

Actual Results:
Menu items that overlap the edge of the ad show a glitch

Expected Results:
Menu items that overlap the edge of the ad should be displayed properly

This displays fine with Firefox 1.0.7.

Seems to be Windows-specific (at least it is fine with 1.5 on Linux).

Also reproducible with latest trunk (2005122106).
Notice how "West" is OK (not over the ad) but the lines below show offset pixels
Changing from Firefox to Core as the same glitch shows in Seamonkey 1.0 beta
(Gecko/20051219 SeaMonkey/1.0b)

(hope that's the right thing to do for what must be a Gecko bug)

Boiled this down to a testcase. Turns out it's nothing to do with google's ad code, any iframe will do (changed bug subject accordingly).

Testcase doesn't work in latest trunk (2006012609).

I'm seeing also a glitch with Mozilla1.7.12, although a different one.
This might be a duplicate of some other bug.

This testcase works on ff 1.5.0.4 Linux but when hovering an image instead of text over the iFrame the glitch still exists.

Testcase WORKSFORME, too. Changing in-testsuite+ back to in-testsuite? since this isn't actually in the testsuite.
