if I use Pause in the Download Manager to halt a runing download (http), and press Resume short time after, the file was closed as if finished without downloading the rest of the file from the server.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download something
2. Pause download using the Download Manager
3. press Resume

Actual Results:
the file was closed and show up as Finished, but it was not complete

Expected Results:
downlod the Rest

I remember, ? one ? year ago, there had been a Mozilla version where Pause Resume in the Download Manager worked as expected but since, this bug persists (I had been too lazy until today to report)
Your internet connection stayed up during the time you pressed Pause and Resume?
Please upgrade to a current SeaMonkey branch build, your build is too old.

Severity: major → normal
Yes, my modem internet connection stays up (in this test case).

No, it is not true, I (have) run Build ID: 2006010108 according to the browsers title (which I downloaded just a day before from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/latest-trunk/seamonkey-1.5a.en-US.win32.zip
which is the address in QA Latest Builds).

general.useragent.override was set :-(not by me), but after resetting this parameter in about:config about: identifies my SeaMonkey as

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060101 SeaMonkey/1.5a
This is still present. To reproduce, pause a download, resume it, pause it again, and then click resume, and the download will complete itself without finishing downloading.
