Please update the program to accept  .doc's as acceptable files for the use of the signature or even be able to type the signature into the program.

I can not use a .doc file for my email signature or either type a signature into the program.  This would be very usefull - can't understand why it is this way...

I think the .doc file for signature is a clear WONTFIX... It's proprietary, requires another program to view etc, etc.

Signature editing inside thunderbird is bug 324495.
