Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051130 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5 (20060113) Solaris 10/SPARC gtk2

I opened a new mail, and cut/pasted a section of text from gVim into the body of the mail (using Paste from the message area context menu). Then, I selected a different (non-default) identity from the identity drop-down. After selecting the identity, thunderbird dumped core.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose a new mail message
2. Cut a large section of text from another X application (I cut 3.5k of text from gvim)
3. Using the right-click context menu, paste the text into the body of the new mail message.
4. Switch identities using the identity dropdown menu.

Actual Results:
core dump (stack trace included in Additional Information).

Expected Results:
Thunderbird should have just switched my identity for that email.

-bash$ mdb core
