Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. View a picture 2. Right click and save it. 3 Actual Results: machine goes to 100%, firefox goes not responding Expected Results: picture gets saved from memory (where it is) to disk quickly. Do you guys even care anymore?

Can you please try this in safe mode, to make sure this is not an extenstion problem. (You can load Firefox in safe mode by going to Start->All Programs->Mozilla Firefox->Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode))

Have you tried deleting downloads.rdf in your profile? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder

- Safemode does note seem to make any difference.

Deleting this file did seem to help! Will the "clean up" button do the same as deleting it ?

Jim, you likely had a problem with a corrupt downloads.rdf file and shouldn't need to remove it any longer. If you can still reproduce this right after removing that file, please comment in this bug with full details.
