I subscribed to dev-apps-firefox yesterday, and posted to it via google groups, but none of the messages since then -- including my post, or the reply to my post -- have made it to my mail. (I checked the spam box too.) One such message (the reply in question): http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.apps.firefox/msg/e7b185906be74d59

OK, there was a security upgrade to mailman the other day... I have a collection of local patches for it, one of those was to make it not crash when it tries to open a newsgroup that doesn't exist (which periodically happens since I usually wait for the group to go away before deleting the list when we nuke a group). That particular patch got missed when I was re-applying all the local hacks after the upgrade. It's been applied now, and it looks like everything has caught up.

Is that local patch, and how to test that it's been correctly applied after a mailman update, documented somewhere for the next time? (And has it been upstreamed?)

(In reply to comment #2) > Is that local patch, and how to test that it's been correctly applied after a > mailman update, documented somewhere for the next time? It's a one-line patch. And the real problem was that I forgot to make an actual patch file out of it, so it wasn't there to reapply when I applied the directory of patches back to the new install. That's been done now. > (And has it been upstreamed?) Yep. About 2 1/2 years ago. http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=775100&group_id=103&atid=100103
