I'm not sure where the statistics page on the MDC wikis is getting its "registered users" count.  I was under the impression that all MDC wikis were using the same user database, which would imply that the # of reg'd users per wiki should be the same.  The statistics page on each, however, indicates that the # of users for each is different.

If this is expected behaviour, that's fine, I just want to make sure it's actually expected behaviour.  Thanks.

The statistics page for each localisation can be obtained through the "Special Pages" > "Statistics" links via the right-hand column.
