VLC interferes with the display of PNGs in Firefox under Windows XP. Obviously VLC and Firefox are sharing some screen buffer...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a PNG such as that at http://www.deviantart.com/view/24174579/
2. Play (or pause) a movie in VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/). Make sure the Output module is set as "Default" (you may need to restart VLC if it isn't).
Actual Results:
Video is visible through parts of the PNG (I'm guessing they're the totally black parts).

Expected Results:
Black stays black no matter what other applications are running, and whether they are buggy.
Verified this reproduces with VLC and not WMP. Video only shows through in one particular color of the picture. Not sure whether this is a bug in Firefox, XP, or VLC.

Just found the same bug with a .gif(http://www.heise.de/icons/ho/ct/special0808.gif) in Firefox 3.0.4 and VLC 0.9.7 on a Windows XP SP3.

I'm wondering why this bug is so patient
