Using an umlaut within an attachment's directory-name or file-name results in "unable to save your message as a draft." .

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a driectory like c:\Anträge
2. create a file c:\Anträge\a.txt
3. attach it to a mail.
4. press control-s to save it.

Actual Results:  
"unable to save your message as a draft." .
"unable to open the temporary file "c:\AntrA^°ge\a.txt" (meaning that the filename is corrupt.).
 .

Expected Results:  
The mail should have been saved.
WFM with a current SeaMonkey trunk build.
Reporter: What Thunderbird Version did you try this with? BTW: Consider upgrading your browser, Mozilla 1.8b2 is quite old and full of security bugs.
This WFM with TB 1.0.6 as well as more current builds.  I think this problem or something very similar did exist at one point in the suite, a while back -- at least, my testing directory has a folder with an umlauted character in the name, which I must have created to test something...
