User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 I have had this problem when using forward slashes to enter dates, for example 2/10/2006, when using Firefox to access an online banking website. I wanted to enter a range of dates for a list of transactions, and was unable to do so. Every time I entered a "/", up popped the "Find" bar at the bottom of Firefox. I have also encountered this problem when attempting to enter credit card expiration date information (for example - 02/04) at sites such as Amazon.com Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log on to banking website 2.Go to transaction history 3.Enter "dates specified". At first /, up pops Findbar Actual Results: Unable to complete. Could not obtain information with Firefox. Expected Results: Accept dates with "/" characters separating days/months/years. Not open Findbar
