When reply a mail, the Japanese words in CC row will crrupt.
But when forward the same mail, it is OK.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Chose a mail with CC in Japanese
2.Reply the mail
3.The CC-row will corrupt.



Expected Results:  
The Japanese words in the CC-row will corrupt. But the To-row is OK.

When you forward a mail with CC including Japanese words, the CC-row's Japanese words will not be corrupted. Everything is normal.

The problem is very likely that the message is sent in a format that does not support Japanese.  I am experiencing that issue with the latest Thunderbird and I'm quite sure there is another bug report out there.

ylsibo, were you experiencing this on Japanese or Western Windows?

I can verify the following steps, does that accurately reflect your problem?

1) create new message
2) paste "テスト <test@tester.invalid>" in To: field
3) set encoding to Western
3) Ctrl+S to save the message
4) look into drafts folder and see "???"

I then suggest to mark this as a duplicate to bug 378856 (to which bug 369067 has been duped)

Making the necessary change, feel free to reverse if you think this is inappropriate.
