User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.6) Gecko/20060728 Firefox/1.5.0.6 I had installed FEBE extension. Then later CELO extension also. Another day I started my PC, and started Firefox, it showed me that CELO extension requires FEBE3.0 or higher. And after that all my extensions are gone. I even uninstalled and installed (at another location as well as same location), still from that point onwards I am not able to see any installed extension/theme and also not able to install new. Reproducible: Always

When you say "all my extensions are gone" do you mean they are not listed in the extensions manager? Is the default theme listed in the themes manager?

Please attach to this bug the file named extensions.rdf located in your profile directory http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile
My Firefox installation does not contain Profile folder but instead contains "C:\Program Files\Firefox\defaults\profile" folder. This might be due to changing of default installation directory. I have zipped all .rdf files and attaching here from this folder. I hope this will help.

That would not be the profile directory and the app requires one to run. Chances are the directory is hidden and perhaps the following will help. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder
There is no such folder even hidden! And one important thing that i forgot to mention: "I had uninstalled Firefox, still after installing it again at different location has preserved my Bookmarks...!!!" Howz that?

Click start - run and type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles It should bring up a window with your profile folders in it (hopefully only one). Look in there for extensions.rdf.

This is due to RDF corrupting the extensions datasource during a write and is fixed by bug 324111 for Firefox 2.0. To fix this with your version delete the extensions.rdf file and it should be regenerated correctly. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 324111 ***
