Talkback server seems to have filled up over the weekend, here is a log from a manual push of the symbols from a tinderbox:

scp: /home/symbols/symbols/MozillaOrg/Firefox2/Win32//2006082103.tar.bz2: No spa
ce left on device
Unpacking symbols on remote host...
2006082103/
2006082103/AccessibleMarshal.pdb
tar: 2006082103/AccessibleMarshal.pdb: Cannot write: No space left on device
tar: Skipping to next header
This is, we're told, making it so that symbols aren't making it to the talkback server, meaning the 2.0b2 builds show up with no symbol data.
Dropping priority to stop to paging... working on a solution.

Jay, are there scripts we can use to clean the server up safely?
Assignee: server-ops → justdave
Per rhelmer, Jay said anything in hal:/e/symbols can go away as long as it all exists already on spike:/g/symbols, which is where the master copy is. An rsync dry run confirmed that everything on hal was also on spike, so the contents of the symbols directory on hal was nuked. Space should be available now.
