User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 I have installed Firefox for several non-technical friends and family members for security reasons. Today, one asked why the auto-complete was not working the way she wanted (in other words the way it did so in IE). She wanted it to appear inline so all that she would have to do was go to the address bar, start typing the URL, and press Enter when it was recognized from history. There was no option in the GUI to enable this. After doing a Google search, I found that it could be enabled by going to about:config and creating a Boolean value browser.urlbar.autoFill set to True. Doing so fixed the problem on that installation. However, since many users may want to enable this feature, there should be a way to do so from Tools->Options, rather than editing the configuration file by hand. Can this be added? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A - this is a feature request. Actual Results: Inline autocomplete can be enabled from about:config, but not from Tools->Options. Expected Results: There should be a check box in Tools->Options->Advanced->General to enable this feature.
