stroke-width="0" is being interpreted as don't display element.
whereas it should mean dont display stroke.

this bug may be cairo related.
this bug has only appeared in recent builds
win'98 ff 1.5 and earlier did not have this bug

Can't really be cairo-specific, (if you're talking about stroke-width affecting fill). Since in cairo itself, the stroke width has absolutely no effect on fill. (Cairo is not like SVG where "fill and stroke" is a primitive operation---those are two separate primitives in cairo.) Though the bug could definitely be related to mozilla's use of cairo, of course.

ff 2.0b2 in os x does not have this bug...

also please note there is another bug regarding scale
I have to rush out, note trailing space in 2nd attachment blocks scaling

Can you raise the trailing space issue is in a separate bug please?
