With a folder selected in the Folders pane, the options under File | Save as are greyed out.  It would be very useful to allow saving the entire folder to a file.

Reproducible: Always




Although users can manually browse into their profile and find the file to copy, this requires a level of knowledge available to most users, and on Windows systems also requires viewing of hidden and system files which are invisible by default (for good reason).

It may also be beneficial to allow appending the selected message folder to an existing file.

The folder should probably be compacted before saving, since the .msf information would be lost.

Correction:

...this requires a level of knowledge NOT available to most users.
