Here is a windows .xpi that I've tested. Will post the PFS patch shortly.
http://people.mozilla.org/~morgamic/divx/win/DivXWebPlayer.xpi
My research on the Mac install says that most max .xpi's do not have a .dmg in them, they are already inflated when they are zipped into the .xpi. Will spend more time on this tomorrow.
I've taken the install.js from your XPI and rebuilt a XPI that I signed with our DivX,Inc p12 certificate. I'll get that XPI hosted on download.divx.com tomorrow and I'll update the bug with the final URL for you.
The Windows .xpi of the DivX Web Player is online on our servers at:

http://download.divx.com/player/DivXWebPlayer.xpi

It is digitally signed from DivX,Inc. Feel free to test that link and reference it from the PFS. Let me know if it's okay :) !

This has been updated in production. We'll keep this open until we can figure out the mac packaging. Damien is going to take a stab at it.
I've made an .xpi for mac that works using XPInstall only (which makes it silent) and I've updated the .xpi for windows to be silent as well. We'll show the license agreement as part of the pfs process (I've given the license agreement URL to morgamic and he's working on the final pfs update)
This should use the new .xpi's that Damien put together. It will make the user experience a lot better and more integrated w/ the browser.

I pushed the patch through -- both Damien and I looked at it.
