Details

We are attempting to vacate all of the old legacy servers at Mozilla, and bonsai-www we intend to move from rheet to dm-webtools01, to live alongside the existing bonsai-cvs and bonsai-l10n.

We hit a roadblock because the www cvsroot is different between cvs-www and cvs-mirror. Bonsai needs to be able to use the pathnames given by the master cvs server, but know that that module lives in a different cvsroot in the copy on the local filesystem.

The direct example: cvs-www.mozilla.org:/cvsroot is equivalent to cvs-mirror.mozilla.org:/www

So the emails coming in, and what's displayed in bonsai's web pages, should use /cvsroot, but it needs to look in /www on the local filesystem to find the files when it does local RCS operations on them.
