Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0

During load of a page, the complete GUI is freeze. Nothing is clickable with the mouse. After some time, the page load finish and the GUI works properly. Theirs remeber the clicks during the freeze.

Also i have this problem at some startup (blank page).
My opinion is. I'm behind a firewall and Firefox cannot connect through all ports and is freeze to end of a timeout, before continue work.

The startup problem is more existent, if i in a intranet with completly blocked internet.

Reproducible: Sometimes

The same problem like bug 339320 ?
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!

Hello Steve

Sorry, but the problem exists furthermore.
I have now a new Laptop, now with Windows XP SP2 and the last official Firefox 2 (2.0.0.4), new installed. The problem isn't gone.

Have you any idea, how can i give you more informations ?
The Laptop is in a Company-Network, i can't make changes at the firewall, the proxy or the network configuration.

Can i run Firefox in a debug mode, which log the timestamps for each action ?

Best regards, Martin
