361166 - Bookmark "Name" goes blank when Stored

When I attempt to store a new Bookmark it seeks that the Name will "Blank Out" when you go to the Create In section.... Bookmark is stored but you have to go back to actual file and Rename it...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select webpage to bookmark
2.Option-D to store
3.Store and No Name will be stored

Actual Results:  
Bookmark is there, no Name though

Expected Results:  
Stored Bookmark w/ Name as seen in "Name" window at beginning of process...

That's about it!!

What extensions do you have installed, and does it work properly when you start in safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode) to disable them?

Helo Phil.. thanks for the quick reply...
I am a bit new as Tech Guy here so I hope I have gone thru correctly... currently using Macbook Pro computer; There are No Extensions installed; I just Installed Firefox 2.0 a couple of days ago... previously a Firefox 1.5 user for past three (3) months... 

I started in Safe Mode and Disabled "Add Ons" and went to Default Settings and got same result upon Bookmark Saving...

I hope this helps with the "quest"...

..and if you "EDIT" the Name of the Page before Storing it it seems to "NOT BLANK " it out!! 

Simply UNHIGHLIGHTING (the Name area changes from a Trans-Lucent Blue to Plain White) by putting cursor on Name Box does not seem to help it "not blank" when Storing it though... 

I hope this makes sense and helps out.

Same problem With Firefox 2.0 on WinXP pro Service pack 2
No name appears when saving bookmarks.

I just had this bug today... Also, I lost all my links and I could only save in the shorcut folder (those five folders...).  

To fix it, I deleted my profile and made a new. Now it works fine.

*Don't forget to take yyour bookmark backup! ( if you had something)
*To access Firefox profile manager (be sure to close firefox), go to the run command type>: Firefox.exe -ProfileManager
