In other words, keys have changed places...

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write "Noël" or "créatif" or "à bientôt"

Verify your language settings and keyboard settings (in windows control panel). 
There is minimal chance this is something thunderbird did.

The French keyboard doesn't act the same as when I write in Microsoft Word. For example, I can't type the "¨" or the quote/unquote signs. Also, the "`" on the letter "a" and "e" are at different places. I didn't have that problem a few days ago. Don't know what happened.

Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.17)
