When I click Ctrl+F, the find toolbar is displayed on the bottom of the browser but it doesn't display the word to be found Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Firefox 2.0 2.Enter www.indiatimes.com 3.Click on the epaper link present in the left navigation column 4.Enter the username and password 5.After entering into the site, the paper is displayed in the centre pane. 6.Click on the ad to enlarge it 7. The ad opens in a seperate window. Press Ctrl+F. The find toolbar is displayed at the bottom of the browser Actual Results: Enter a existing text into the Find Toolbar. The toolbar text box displays a red colour indicating that the word entered in the text box doesn't exist in the window. Moreover the existing word in the window is not highlighted Expected Results: The toolbar text box shouldn't display any colour for an existing word. The word existing in the browser window should be highlighted Screenshot attached

I can't access that page, since you need a password for it. But is it a normal web page that you are viewing or is it some kind of content embedded in a plug-in?
The user name and password for that page are username: gangeya.babu password: ignore The web page consists of some sort of plug-ins embedded. I'm not sure about those plugins.

Ok, thanks for the login info. However, I can't find that particular ad. I suspect the ad was an image, so that would mean you really can't search for that text since it is just an image. The find function just works fine for me for the other pieces in the epaper.
