User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061123 Minefield/3.0a1 Using the latest nightly, opening a jar file locally using the file protocoll doesn't load content that's within a frame. It loads the frameset however and it also works when using http. Using FF 2.0, loading content locally works as well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a frameset document and two frame documents. 2. Create a zip archive with "jar" format 3. Open it locally using jar:file:///D:/temp/help.jar!/index.html Actual Results: Frame content doesn't get loaded Expected Results: Frame content should load

You may download the archive to test it locally. You may also access the archive online at jar:http://www.birgin.de/test/bugzilla/mozjarbug.jar!/frame.html Note: It works online but not locally.

Hmmm. The link at comment #1 must be copied into the addressbar including the "jar:" prefix!

Can you find a regression range for this, using the -trunk builds at http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/ and/or http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/ ? Binary search should make the number of builds you need to test fairly low.
