Details

When an exception is thrown in any of the Item functions in calICalendar, onOperationComplete should automatically be called with the appropriate Error code. This can minimize code duplicate code in the providers and make the code look cleaner while still completing the async operation.
Too many callers to warrant changing this for the providers. Marking WONTFIX as discussed.
