Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1) Gecko/20061010 Firefox/2.0
Build Identifier: Chatzilla 0.9.77-rdmsoft [XULRunner 1.8.0.4/2006060814]

Chatzilla does not convert %Cxx,yy constructions to colored text while using aliases.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Chatzilla
2. Create alias with color construction, e.g. tmp = say %C12tmp
3. Use created alias (/tmp).

Actual Results:
Chatzilla shows "%C12tmp" instead of blue character "q".
1. /alias testcolors msg Hannibal %C04 test
2. /testcolors
3. from(Hannibal) <red>test</red>

(Obviously the <red></red> means it was in red, not that it had that stuff around it. But you get the point)

Please test properly. This does not 'work' if you /actually/ add an alias with a %-code in it.

Just a note for clarification, this bug occurs when an alias is created from the pref window.

Entering (ETX) character into the Pref>List instead of % works.
(Of course, getting it in may be a problem.)
The /alias command IS easier to use and the result does end up in you Prefs.
