Further testing has found a conflict with Kaspersky AV latest beta installed. 6.0.2.546 build. Strange part is yesterday's build is OK with the above AV, but not todays. Do we close this bug or leave it for further testing to resolve the conflict? Thanks
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20061223 Minefield/3.0a2pre ID:2006122304 [cairo] no problem, with WMP 10

OK the 2006122217 build is the first build that the vids on CNN crash. http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?module=PhoenixTinderbox&date=explicit&mindate=1166819760&maxdate=1166837879 This is the build where the Cairo update was added, along with an OSX fix for same, but that's not going to affect Windows. Using WinXP Pro SP2 fully updated WMP 10 Kaspersky 6.0.2.546 Beta fully updated. Using the latest NOD32 AV, I have no problems. Currently back on 122304 build, and the crash is still there after a complete remove/clean install of KAV AV.

No crash here with KAV 6.0.2.546 and WMP 10 (although the video didn't start playing, which is an unrelated oddness). Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20061223 Minefield/3.0a2pre ID:2006122304 [cairo]
Summary: View any video and Minefield will crash → View any video and Minefield will crash (conflict with Kaspersky AV 6?)

Stack seems to confirm kav as the suspect - prloader.dll is part of kapersky. May want to file a bug report with them.

We're now tracking such bugs. This doesn't mean it's something we can fix, merely something we hope to be able to point vendors to so they can investigate. This is an automated message.
