"Target Milestone:" is too wide, creating a gap between the field name/value
pairs above it.

The "URL:" text is too far away from its text input IMO.

Changing "Target Milestone:" to something shorter would also make the whole
left column less wide allowing for the longer text fields, e.g. URL, to be
a few characters wider.

Also, why does this form (enter_bug.cgi) have right justified leaders
while show_bug.cgi leaders are left justified?
I proposed changing it to "Target" a while ago.

I agree; "Milestone" is Mozilla-specific terminology, and obsolete Mozilla-specific terminology at that.

Rearranging this component to not have me as the default assignee, so that it doesn't appear like I'm intending to work on bugs that other people could be taking care of if they didn't think I was already doing them. If this bug is a software issue on b.m.o and you'd like to fix it, the modified source is now available for the patching (see bug 373688). Reassigning to the new default owner.

I've changed my mind from comment 2; people in Mozilla still call them TMs or Target Milestones.

If we want URL: closer to the field, we should reverse the customization which left-aligns the field labels.
