A problem caused Windows Defender Service to stop. To start the service,restart your computer or search Help and Support on how to start the service manually." We have 2 computers-both experiencing the same result. I tried to start Defender manually with no success. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start computer 2. 3. Actual Results: error message appears at startup; Windows Defender can't be started. Everything else works normally. Expected Results: Firefox shouldn't block Windows programs.

Firefox doesn't block windows programs and it's not even running (no parts of it) if you start your system. Windows defender is crashing and not Firefox and that means that there must be a bug in Windows defender. I don't know why you report it here. marking invalid
