User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1

Start downloading a file into non-default directory, cancel the download and retry. The retried file is going into default download directory

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Firefox to download files in a default directory, say, C:\Download
2. Start downloading a file into a non-default directory, say, C:\Software\Browsers\Mozilla\
3. In the Download Manager, cancel the download
4. In the Download Manager, hit "Retry"

Actual Results:
Download is going into default directory C:\Download

Expected Results:
A retried download is going into C:\Software\Browsers\Mozilla\
(it's a retry, so it should work the same way as the original)
Dupe of Bug 286009?
It is not clear to me if you have checked in the Options window "Always ask me where to save files" or that you're using the right click option "Save link as".
So it would be best to reproduce this in a new profile so you can tell exactly what settings you have changed.
Did not check the "Always ask" option

Used the right click option.

The point is: original download goes from URL A to disk location B
A retried download goes from URL A to disk location C, so it's not really a retry
