Details
I upgraded the kernel on cg-centos01.sj.mozilla.com last week, and it seems the vmware guest tools no longer start up properly due to the new kernel. [root@cg-centos01 etc]# service vmware-tools start VMware Tools is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured for the running kernel. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl. I invoke that, and it kills eth0, which leaves me kinda dead. ;) Can you run that from the console to reconfigure the tools for the new kernel? Thanks!
