Spun off of bug 336020 since that had things changing out from under it. Here's where we stand at this point as I understand it: - bug 343772 changed the popup blocking core code to honor a whitelist for *either* the requesting frame domain or the top-level domain. - Firefox uses the top-level window - We use the requesting frame There is debate as to which is the right approach, but given our current UI we should be using the top-level window since we have no way to show multiple domains.
