User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2pre) Gecko/20070111 SeaMonkey/1.1 Let's pretend, that the SeaMonkey mail window has 3 parts: 1st part=on the left side, there is part with the accounts and their folders 2nd part=top-right part with the list of e-mails belonging to the selected folder(selected in 1st part) 3rd part=mail body of the selected e-mail (selected in 2nd part) The problem I have is that I select the mail in 2nd part by mouse and using drag&drop I want to move the mail from the source folder to the destination folder. But... having the mouse button still pressed and moving with the message over the 2nd and 3rd part - everything is ok, but when I move the cursor over the line between 2nd(or 3rd) and 1st part, the icon signaling that I'm moving the message disappears and the whole drag&drop action is canceled. In other words I cannot move the mail to other folder using drag&drop (using Move to dialog still works, but is not convenient). using Linux Fedora6, regularly updating... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.drag e-mail 2.try to move to another folder Actual Results: drag&drop action is canceled Expected Results: drag&drop action is not canceled and the selected mail is moved from src folder to the dst folder I thought, it can be a mouse problem, I tried 3 types of mouses, 2 of them USB mouses, 1 of them PS/2 mouse - same result.
Are you getting some messages starting it from a console and performing the action? I have a problem too with dnd on fc6 and freebsd (seamonkey release). https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370046
