372101 - Ineternet explorer browser Plug-in is not compatible with Mozilla Fire Fox browser

Previous programmer developed a plug-in(.OCX) for (Internet explorer browser) and Mozilla fire fox browser in VC++ (COM) technology. I made some changes in plug-in it’s working fine with Internet explorer browser but not working with Mozilla fire fox browser.

What previous programmer did, He developed a plug-in for Internet explorer in VC++(COM) technology, To make this plug-in compatible with fire fox browser, He developed a two files, One DLL and another is .XPI file and place these files in directory “Mozilla Firefox\plugins” i.e mozilla fire fox browser installed directory. 

It’s working fine in both (Internet explorer and Mozilla Fire Fox) with old build,  i.e (Previous programmer developed .OCX, .DLL, .XPI files), If I make any changes in .OCX  its failing, Its not working with Mozilla Fire fox browser, Its  working fine with Internet explorer browser.

I have the source of dll, which  is placed in “Mozilla\Plugin” directory, it’s Mozilla fire fox browser related dll, , But I can’t able to compile, Getting errors  “common\np_entry.cpp” , “common\npn_gate.cpp” No such file or directory,  Where to get these file and how to generate .XPI file.

I am new to developing plug-in to Mozilla fire fox browser.

One of our sample plugins has files with those names. The previous developer must have downloaded them locally, but there's no way to tell what changes he may have made to them that your plugin requires.
