valerie writes: I have Windows Vista Ultimate and cannot load my bank website: www.commerceonline.com FIREFOX locks up and freezes when I try to go to this website. I also have a laptop with Vista Business on it and it does the exact same thing. I have two other computers I use, (my work computers), a laptop and a desktop with Windows XP Professional. I use FIREFOX on both those machines and have never had any problem going to my bank’s website. I keep up with all of your updates, because I prefer Firefox to IE. Unfortunately, I must use IE to go to my bank web site on my Vista machines. Please, please assist and advise!

I'm not able to reproduce this on Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Windows Vista Ulimate. will ping valerie for any add-ons / plugin details (as that page appears to have a java applet?)

I'd guess this is due to the Java applet on the page and potentially has something to do with whatever version of Java she has installed (but yeah, more information would be good).

i also have this problem on firefox 2.0.0.3 on windows vista. i have confirmed that it does not occur if i disable java. so it's a java bug. i have no idea what version of java i have. C:\Users\Erik>java -version java version "1.6.0-oem" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-oem-b104) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0-oem-b104, mixed mode) ??
