I put the .po file in the trunk, SVN r3144.

Is "Shqipe" the correct word for the Albanian Language, that should be shown in the Language dropdown list at the bottom of the page? If not, please let me know the right word.

Hey Besnik,

We noticed the sq localization doesn't have any dynamic localizations in it, and when we tried to give you access to them on AMO, we couldn't find your AMO account.

We've published a guide to localizing AMO ( http://wiki.mozilla.org/Update:Localizers ) on the wiki.  Could you please look through it and fill in the missing pieces for the sq locale?

Would it be possible to change SANDBOX to BANKOPROVË at the flowchart? I have translated ¨sandbox¨ as ¨bankoprovë¨ throughout the .po and the pages.

I´d like to report a couple of issues I saw while trying to use
different sections of the translation and of the site:


I. I need to override the following notice,
(https://addons.mozilla.org/sq/firefox/localizers/gettext ):

"The following 14 strings are the same as their en-US translations and
have been considered untranslated: ..."

and have the strings considered translated instead, because they remain as in the original, (blog, EULA, GUID, etc).


II. The Discussion page is untranslated because I missed something along
the way or they still working on those strings?


III. Also, ¨previous¨ and ¨next¨ buttons on a review page, for whatever
addon you choose to see the review, are not working actually. You only
see the translations for previous and next, instead of previous and next
working buttons.

That's just miscalculation and doesn't affect anything on the user facing side.  It's just a simple way to estimate how complete a translation is, but it's susceptible to strings being identical to English.  There is no way to override the message.  If the strings are correct, you can ignore it.

Do you have a link to the page?  When I look at a discussion page, the interface is translated, (eg. https://addons.mozilla.org/sq/firefox/discussions/?AddOnID=1865 ).  The actual content is not, because those are user written reviews - we're not going to translate all of those.  There are far too many.

I updated your .po file from comment #25.  I looked at the files in comment #24, and they are complete pages.  Could you please cut out everything except the page content?  For example:  http://svn.mozilla.org/addons/trunk/site/app/locale/en_US/pages/sandbox.thtml  (All the other pages are in that directory too if you just want to translate directly from English - just skip privacy.thtml).

Umm.  Yeah, that's weird.  I filed bug 398282 about it.  I'm pretty sure it worked for me last night...

Anyway, your pages are on staging - thanks for redoing them.  Couple of examples:

Please, could you check it out for me, do I have an AMO account or not? Finally, I have a working svn installation and I hope I won't bother the list anymore with commit requests. :) (Thank you all for your help!)
Once the AMO account issue gets a solution, is it OK I close this bug?

Hey,

You definitely have an account.  I added you to the localizers group on June 4th, and you've logged in and updated the translations a few times.  We're all good in that area.

I think it's reasonable to close this bug if you like.  AMO is undergoing a reskinning right now (eg. http://people.mozilla.com/~madhava/files/amo/2007-11-21/) and I expect there to be some more strings to translate near the beginning of next month.  We'll try to keep the number down, of course, and I'll send an email to the l10n-web list when it's ready.

Should be able to click "Localizer Control Panel" and then "Categories" in the left hand menu.
