When you start off with a clean version of Tb, and you install the German dictionary, the restart button will stay grayed out, even though the installation worked and asks you to restart Tb in order to complete the installation.

If you install an addon (in the test case: Lightning) right afterwards (without having restarted), the button "ungrays" and works as expected.

This might not be a dictionary-only issue.

I found that bug too when I searched before filing this one, but it didn't seem to be the same issue (the dictionary wasn't incompatible as far as I can tell).

Yet it might in fact be the same underlying code. Feel free to dupe/depend if it turns out to be the same.

It is internally incompatible (unless you happen to have been using 2.0a1, since that's its minVersion and maxVersion both), externally raised, and shared code (Toolkit : Add-on Manager just happens to live in Firefox).
