Look at fields 4 (a hotmail login form) and 5 (an angelfire login form) on
http://www.palosverdes.com/jesse/default.html . Notice that the password boxes
are lower than the text boxes in both of these.

This only seems to happen inside tables.

Another unexpected disparity between password and text inputs is bug 30221.
Rod, the differences could be because of differences in html.css. I don't think
this is a table problem.

This is still whacked. Now *outside* of tables, *textboxes* are lower.

It looks fine, I don't see what is whacked, please explain.

I don't see a problem on either the testcase nor the URL.

Jesse: Could you please either verify or reopen?
Thanks!

Now, the password input is higher than the text input when the two inputs
aren't in a table. I'm pretty sure this regressed when the fix went in for the
table case, where password inputs were lower.

Testcases that show the problem:
data:text/html,<input type=text><input type=password>
data:text/html,<input type=text> <input type=password>

I see this too on the data-URLs.
Both data URLs work for me on today's Linux CVS. Closing WORKSFORME. Reopen if
they become misaligned, again...
