(In reply to comment #0) > I've installed 2.0 on my Etch. After I've copied the files over the old ones, Do you mean that you copied program directory contents of Tb 2.x over program directory of Tb 1.5.x? > I can downgrade to 1.5 After starting the buggy version, How did you downgrade? You copied backup of program directory contents of Tb 1.5.x over program directory on which you had overrided Tb 2.x?

(In reply to comment #0) > but my account tree (snip) disappeared. Do you use extension(s)? I saw a thread in a forum in Japan which said "account is not displayed if 'Check for new message at startup' is off, when an extension is used." Is this the case? Problem occurs even when Safe-Mode of TB?

I'd suggest you don't copy over things manually (mail folders are ok, but settings shouldn't be copied over). Just make a backup of the old profile, and let thunderbird use the profile.

Reporter, does this issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.14 / trunk nightlies?
