Firefox doesn't come with Google Toolbar when you download it from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ so there is possibly something wrong with the extension. When you delete the extension in the extensions folder in your profile folder it should be gone forever. The GUID of the official Google Toolbar begins with something like {3112ca9c.....}. You could also simply create a new profile: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Folder
