User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) Build Identifier: 2.0.0.0 (20070326) I found out that there was an upgrade to Thunderbird 2.0. So I closed all applications, and ran the install. I then restarted the computer. I am using XP Pro on a Windows platform. Everything seemed to work just fine, then when I started to get new eMail, the new messages started coming in, and every othre line is blue. And every other message has type on top of it, making the entire window pane unreadble. Before I wrote this, I spent the better part of the nighte looking for a fix, a preference, or a past trouble shooting issue. Please let me know how I can fix this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I have closed the application and restarted it and it still happens. 2. I have restarted the computere and launched the Thunderbird, and it still happens. 3. Actual Results: I had Thunderbird 1.x the lastest version before build 2.x. All I did was run the upgrade and this problem occured. And I can't fix it.

works for me in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.8.1.5pre) Gecko/20070601 Thunderbird/2.0.0.5pre Mnenhy/0.7.5.0 ID:2007060203 Can you try to start Thunderbird in Safe Mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode), maybe this problem is caused by an extension/theme.

.. or if you are talking about bug 352694, it's a graphics card bug. If it doesn't work in safe mode, please attach a screen shot.

Reporter wrote me he fixed the problem by using the Noia theme. Probably a dupe, marking incomlpete.
