Since upgrade to version 2.0.0.4 If I have firefox running and I try to open a HTML file stored on my local disc, instead of opening that file in another window/tab It opens at my homepage instead.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open firefox connect to a site.
2.try to opena local html file in another tab/window
3.curse when it opens home page Again
Actual Results:
Instead of opening the requested html file(local copy)
FF opens my Home Page

Expected Results:
Requested file to open
Can you be more specific about what you're doing, especially in step 2?

I have one instance of FF open at my home page(or whatever)
If I want to open a html file from my drive by double clicking the file,
Firefox starts up another instance of the browser but instead of opening the requested html file it opens up my Home Page
I have reformated my HD and reinstallrd FF and it has not happened again.
I have no idea what caused it.
WFM. Feel free to reopen this report if you see that again
