User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: 1.5x + Hi I use Thunderbird in both work and at home and I normally have the 'Check for mail' set to 30 minutes for both. What i would love is to be able to schedule that checking on a daily or even better hourly basis. The problem is that I have to double up on a lot of message maintenance because my work mail has downloaded mail overnight as has my home account. I then delete unwanted email at home but I also have to do the exact same when I get to work. If I could tell my work instance of Thunderbird not to try and download mail between the hours of 7pm till 8am and never on weekends then I wouldn't have that problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. No 2. Steps 3. Are involved

Why not just turn thunderbird off when you leave work? Or use imap...

This sounds like something that has already been partly solved, or better solved by other methods.
