I had multiple tabs open and when I went to belletire.com it crashed firefox...said something about quicktime plug-in failed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open multiple tabbed websites
2.goto belletire.com
3.
Actual Results:  
firefox crashes, doesn't respond

Expected Results:  
belletire.com tire selector menu should allow me to check tire sizes

vista
intel duo core 2.10
2gb memory
64mb graphics nvidia

Doesn't crash for me, because Firefox used Flash for application/x-shockwave-flash (ad), and couldn't find anything to use for audio/wav (!).

Sounds like a quicktime crash - reporter, can you get a talkback report?

talkback agent was running when firefox crashed, but
talkback didn't pick-up any errors...

I checked on the error console and found a few errors,
if it'll help.

"uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method XMLHttpRequest.open


I've re-installed quicktime with no avail in any changes...

there is a known crash bug in a version of quicktime

If you use quicktime alternative 1.81 (QuickTime Codecs version 7.1.6.200) try to downgrade to 1.80, 1.81 crashes Firefox on many media contents

Maybe the reporter could update to the latest versions of Quicktime and Firefox?
