When you start the browser, a lot of tabs will open (like that you've installed the All-in-one-sidebar and for instance the 3 tabs about the latest version of Firefox).
Besides that you can click on the ok button when you are looking at the settings but without anything to happen. Hitting the ok button will not do anything. now you have to hit the apply button and then close the settings window by hitting the cross in the upper right corner.

- Firefox's safe-mode to exclude extension/theme problems
- a new profile
- a reinstall in a new empty folder?

Also, are you really using GP alpha 1, when alpha 5 is currently out?

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
