Can not receive or send mail.  When sending mail get message that SMTP Server has failed.

Actual Results:  
Message appears that SMTP server outgoing.verizon.net failed.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
Closed: 17 years ago
Resolution: --- → FIXED
Resolution: FIXED → INCOMPLETE
Verizon says their server is working fine.  I can receive and send mail from their web mail
Rebooting solved problem.
Resolution: INCOMPLETE → FIXED
As https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#resolution says, resolved fixed means that it was a bug, and code was checked into the tree to fix it. If your computer wasn't connecting to the server until you rebooted it, that's neither a bug (in Thunderbird) nor FIXED.
