User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4
Build Identifier: Version 2.0.0.4 (20070604)

After I created an imap account, it worked perfect. Later I configured my proxy and then when I start thunderbird it doesn't ask me for the sccount password. when I take out the proxy configuration it works again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create an IMAP account
2. configure your proxy manual
3.
I don't know the current Thunderbird proxy UI as Seamonkey user.
Did you setup the proxy in Thunderbird for Images in mails or do you want to use a Socks proxy for the imap accvess itself ?

I think you added a non socks proxy URL/IP in the socks proxy field.

I have a similar problem : till las Thunderbird update, it opens without requesting any password, and I am so unable to open my remote mailbox (orange).

OS : Windows Xp SP2
Spam filter : Spampal v1.594
Thunderbird :2.0.0.6

Regards

Maurice
