When you have any size of document, it is useful
to be able to go to the very beginning and very
end of a document. Windows guidelines define that
Ctrl+Home takes you to the very beginning of the
document, and Ctrl+End takes you to the very end
of the document. These keyboard shortcuts do not
  work in Composer.

To reproduce the problem, produce a document
containing a few (at least 3) lines of text (lines
separated by newlines) in Notepad. Try using
Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End from various places within
the document. Repeat with the same text in
  Composer, and note the difference.

Note that there are equivalent selection
  mechanisms: Ctrl+Shift+Home selects from the
current cursor position to the beginning of the
whole document; Ctrl+Shift+End selects from the
current cursor position to the very end of the
document. I'm not certain off-hand what the cursor
position is after these operations (probably the
very beginning and very end of the document
  respectively).
Target Milestone: --- → M17
This has previously been reported as bug 34004, "ctrl-home and ctrl-end for jump
to ends of document", resolved as a DUP of the megalo- bug 22529, "[FEATURE]
Keyboard shortcuts" -- but the next question is whether the functionality
is present yet for the keybindings to hook into.
ah -- thank you, I didn't realize a bug was already there, will mark this as a
dup of 22529
