Hey Reed,
The image library for http://www.mozilla.org/press/images.html is terribly out of date. Can you update so that it matches what is on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/press/images.html.

Also, press releases are out of date:
Old: http://www.mozilla.org/news.html
Updated: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/press/news.html

Possible to get the feed for .org to pull from .com?

thanks,
Melissa
Shouldn't we just remove/redirect these pages if the up-to-date content is going to be on Mozilla.com?
The news page, at least, includes releases from products other than Firefox and Thunderbird. It should probably not be redirected.

This old page should be removed and redirected to the www.mozilla.com version.

No, as the news page for www.mozilla.org is different from www.mozilla.com (different content, etc.). However, a link to the www.mozilla.com version could be added to the top. Also, www.mozilla.com does not have a feed, so that's not possible at all anyway.

I was able to connect with Pkim about this yesterday and he gave me some input.

Great if we can fix the following:

1.Change wording at top to redirect press to mozilla.com/press. "Looking for Mozilla Corporation Press Center? Visit us at http://www.mozilla.com/press."

2.The press center doesn't have to match mozilla.com exactly, but we want to
remove images, awards, and blogs entirely from .org because they are all out of date. We can always build this section of the site back up when we have the need. Having dated material on a site geared to press is worse than having nothing at all.

3.Remove media contacts. Inquiries should come thru mozilla.com/press.

4. Press release page should say "announcements" and not "releases" because there are only links to full releases, but not the releases themselves.

Thanks for your help.
I went in and completed these edits to www.mozilla.org/press. Closing.
